In Mexico Ananda Marga now owns one property, a 950 sq meter piece of land near the town of Xochicalco with a beautiful little building with a big DC room. Though we had some small programs it mainly functions like a Jagrtii as there is not so much place to accommodate people. Our dream has been to be able to do much larger programs….to do regular Spiritual Warrior Adventure Camps and detox retreats, inner and outer ecology courses, seminars, etc…. To develop a small retreat center. We had plans to slowly build more rooms on our small property to realize this.
Now few weeks ago I received a phone call from our next-door neighbor, a sympathizer, who due to pressing economic difficulties was desperate to sell his property. This offer would double the size or our land, add 4 bedrooms as well as other space at about the same price . As you see this is a wonderful opportunity for us. I hope to share more about it soon.
