I would like to invite you to join us for a “Play Day” at AMURTEL Familly in Panatau Romania on Saturday May 25th. If you are in Europe – there are still cheap flights available from Italy, Germany, UK, etc. Ryanair, Wizzair and Blueair fly to Bucharest.
There will also be an opportunity on September 28th for another Play Day. It is a fun program – that gives an opportunity for you to get to know the children at AMURTEL Family in their own environment and in their own element – through becoming a partner in their play.We now have 12 children! Two more arrived last month – a brother and sister, whose mother died and whose father never recognized them from birth. The family was also very poor, and they suffered neglect and lack of stimulation and encouragement for studies etc. Already – to see Alina reading a novel together with Nicoleta – for pleasure – last week, was such a deep satisfaction. We are also trying to introduce piano and guitar lessons to help them to discover other ways of self-expression. Another child, a 15 year old boy came in January who had never been to school – sent to work on construction sites from childhood, instead.
These children need you to sponsor them. We are running out of funding – we have only enough to last until the middle of 2020 at this point.
