Last year August RDS (Berlin Sector) it was decided to extend the three days sessions with one additional skill training day for WTs and LFTs. In October, Public Speaking skill was introduced. In recent February RDS, the Mapping skills.
There are different mapping purposes such as the well known community mapping used by NGOs and other service entities to know what is in a community. The participants to tell a story about what is happening in their communities. During community mapping events, community members come together and collect field data. In February RDS the Workers and LFTs came together to collect their personal skills and resource data.
The mapping was divided in two sessions: (1) your skills and (2) what you like to do. Each data on a separate piece of paper. In the 1 hour session, 189 notes were collected. With this extensive data, next is to finalize how it will be utilized in Berlin Sector.
