This letter is to all Proutists who have ever dreamed of attending one of the Global Prout Conventions.
As you may know, the annual convention in July that has been held in Denmark the last eleven years cannot be held this year due to the Covid-19 warnings that stopped all large gatherings in the country.
In December, the theme for this year’s convention that was selected, “Make Space for Change.” Covid-19 has certainly changed the space. Now we have a chance to make this convention even more global, by going online.
What we propose is this – wherever possible small groups of Proutists will meet, by area, country, region, or city, etc. A webinar format will present workshops from those who would have been doing it in person in Denmark. The workshop format will focus on developing activities to be done by the Proutists who are meeting together. So we could call it mini conventions happening around the world.
To make this happen we will need to bring these groups together. For that we need one or two organizers, in places where these groups can meet, that can arrange this kind of mini-convention. This letter is a search for those people.
So If you can do this, get together with someone else, pass the word around your area, get everyone excited about the Global Prout Convention, tell us you’re going to do this and we can get started adjusting the program to fit your needs and planning our communication systems.
