It is a project of Baba’s Foundation, Inc. and Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team or AMURT Davao Chapter that aims to reduce food waste and to promote food security to the people of Mindanao at all levels of the society through partnering with private companies, local government units, food manufacturers, and dining establishments to facilitate the cycle of food distribution and make sure that nothing goes to waste.
The food that BFB will gather from its partners will undergo evaluation before it will be donated to the needy. The food scraps will then be produced as fertilizers to promote natural farming, thus, helping our local farmers as well.
